The Story

E.H. Taylor cigars represent a prestigious collaboration between Scandinavian Tobacco Group (parent of General Cigar Company) and Sazerac Co., owners of the Buffalo Trace Distillery where E.H. Taylor bourbon is produced. The cigars are crafted at Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic. The original blend features hand-selected Dominican long-fillers, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and a rich Corojo wrapper — tobaccos chosen specifically to complement the complex vanilla, caramel, and oak notes of E.H. Taylor Jr. Small Batch bourbon. The line has expanded to include the E.H. Taylor Corojo and the E.H. Taylor San Andrés, unveiled at the 2025 PCA Convention. These cigars are part of a broader bourbon-cigar partnership that also includes Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare branded cigars, reflecting the growing intersection of premium spirits and premium tobacco.
